D Islands Inn offers several options for your Caribbean escape, including a new elegant estate villa nestled within five acres of an organic fruit farm, with the villa itself perched cliffside with breathtaking views of the Caribbean sea. The Trinidadian Roger Turton built the villa, and it boasts two levels of an eclectic mix of Mediterranean colors and Dutch architectural features, including bright blues, greens, and yellows – which give the whole building a warm, tropical feel. To complete the atmosphere of your beautiful tropical getaway, green marble floors are spread throughout the villa, with soft pastel furnishing and outdoor teak furniture available for all guest use.
If you’re looking for a swim, but don’t want to get salt water on your hair, take a dip in our 40-foot pool that blends the sea and the horizon – yes, it is an infinity pool that is one of our most popular guest features.
D Islands Inn is a tropical paradise
Consistently featured in Island Life Magazine, D Islands Inn has won numerous awards by vacation review sites and is a customer favorite on sites like Trip Advisor and more. Each villa is taken care of by a personal staff of a housekeeper and cook, who not only get to know your drink preferences, but who also prepare your drinks and food to your liking, so that you enjoy the full five-star resort experience.
How to get there
The Inn is located in the Port of Spain, between the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. From San Juan, you can take a direct flight to the Port, and then a 20-minute air shuttle to reach the smaller island. If you work with our partner travel agency, we can arrange for an all-inclusive amenities package for your trip, including a rented Jeep, snorkeling gear (the beach is right outside your windows), and the use of our full resort staff (including maid, laundress, and gardeners). We also offer a daily continental breakfast with homemade bread and jellies, tea, coffee, beer, wine, bottled water, and homemade bottles of rum punch. Plus, you can enjoy fresh fruit picked directly from the fruit grown at the estate.
There are thousands of reasons to travel to the Caribbean, and D Islands Inn is the perfect tropical paradise for you when you do.
